The photo on this page is not of me. It is however, my favorite photo I've taken to date of a beautiful and amazing creature I happened upon. I find the image to be incredibly powerfull and am very proud of it. 

 

It's interesting; many have commented that they find the image disturbing because it looks as though the model is about to cut her nipple. They see a masochism or a vulnerability in the photo.

 

I however see the opposite. I see the model in a vulnerable state, nude and holding a knife to her own body not as a threat of self-harm but of immense power. If she is able to be in control of this knife and her own nudity then what else is she in control of?

 

 

Who am I?

 

I am a queer, feminist female photographer/videographer with 6+ years experience as a full time, professional producer.

 

I celebrate natural women and the majority of my work is of unshaven women in nature. I believe in bodily autonomy and nudity having many ways to be appreciated and expressed.

 

I have used these page titles as a way to seperate different types of shoot but really I don't believe in these types of deliniations so please look through everything, where you can. 

 

I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to travel for gigs as well.
